Service Description
The VO2max Test measures your body’s ability to consume oxygen during exercise. Being able to effectively take in oxygen and deliver it to the muscles will enable you to swim, bike, run (etc) faster at a given effort. >> SUITABLE FOR << The VO2max Test is a great predictor of aerobic potential and an indicator of general fitness for runners, triathletes, cyclists, cross-country skiers, rowers and more! >> THE PROCESS << 1. Upon arrival, you'll be briefed on the procedure and asked to change into your running attire. 2. You will be equipped with a heart rate monitor and mask to measure gas exchange. 3. You will warm up for 10 minutes before the test begins. 4. You will then complete a ramp test (gradually increasing in speed/power) to voluntary exhaustion. 5. You will then cool down. 6. Upon completion, our team will compile your results and provide personalised recommendations for your training based on the data gathered.
